A full crew of people came to help this production.  With excellent acting by Steve Marcotte and Atha Dalton, wonderful cinematography by Rebekah Cheyne, and wonderful work by my producer Carrie Goggans, this is a piece which I truly take pride in.

This LGBT short film hasn't been released yet, but you can see a clip here!  It is a moving story about two girls who meet in the library and say so much while hardly even speaking a word.  Look for the full version in festivals and competitions soon!

Gatorade (spec. commercial)

Picture
Writer/Director: Michael Patterson
Assistant Director/Producer: Zachary R. Goulet

This was our attempt to create a Gatorade commercial.  The Gatorade logo and trademark is the property of PepsiCo.  The use of this logo is entirely for educational purposes.

Guinness (spec. commercial)

Picture
Writer/Director: Nick Scofield
Director of Photography: Zachary R. Goulet and Rebekah Cheyne

This Guinness spec. commercial showcases the rich fullness of this dark, complex beer.

Gunsmoke Exercise (video)

Picture
Editor: Zachary R. Goulet

This was an exercise to show how different editors using the same footage can tell completely different stories based solely on the editing.  I was able to compare my cut to both the original cut of Gunsmoke that made it on air, as well as my editor colleagues.

In the Air Tonight (short film)

Picture
Created by: Zachary R. Goulet, Nick Scofield, Rebekah Cheyne, Michael Patterson, Ben Greene, Weston Ver Steeg, and Kiley Dorton.

This short film was a collaborative effort between several of my friends and I.  We entered the Campus Movie Fest Film Competition and won several awards, making it all the way from the local UGA level to the International Grand Finale in LA!  We were given only one week to do everything- come up with a concept, write the script, shoot the story, and cut the film.  It was a wild seven days!

Level 84 (short film)

Picture
Writer/Director: Zachary R. Goulet
Producer: Ashley Kruythoff
Executive Producer: James Biddle

This modern day Mario remake was my first attempt at a larger scale short film.  We had a wonderful cast and crew who all worked very hard, and this was a great learning experience.

Lonnie's Legends (highlight videos)

Picture
Shooter/Editor: Zachary. R Goulet

While interning for Career, Sports, and Entertainment in Atlanta, I attended each of the company softball games.  I filmed each game, then edited a highlight reel every week using Avid.  They were distributed over the company website.  Follow the Legends on their journey through the softball season during the summer of 2008.

Red Clay Chef Competition (summary video)

Picture
Script Supervisor/Host Producer: Zachary R. Goulet
Executive Producer: James Biddle
Compilation Video Editor: Nick Scofield

For the 2008 Taste of Athens, we organized the Red Clay Chef Competition.  Basically, think of Iron Chef, but for local chefs, using local ingredients.  The competition lasted for an hour and we were there to film every minute.  Months of preparation went into coordinating this event.

Lessons Learned (videos)

Picture
Director: Ashley Reed
Producer: Dr. Don Rubin
Editor: Zachary R. Goulet

I worked for The Southern Center for Communication, Health & Poverty compiling and editing 9 episodes for their health communication series called, "Lessons Learned."  Using a mixture of templates and custom work, I edited the episodes and created a DVD for replication and distribution.

Truth in the River (short film)

Picture
Writer/Director/Videographer: Zachary R. Goulet
Executive Producer: James Biddle

This short film had only one rule: I had to tell a story in 30 seconds flat.  After completing the project, I later went back and added the title shot and credits.
